Improving your public speaking:
Upon joining our club, you will receive the Toastmasters Competent Communication and Competent Leadership manuals. The communication manual contains a series of 10 speech assignments designed to provide instruction and practice in the basic building techniques of public speaking.

Your first speech will be an "icebreaker" - a chance to introduce yourself to your fellow Toastmasters. From then on, you work at the pace that suits you. You'll learn to use vocal variety, hand gestures, eye contact, organization techniques and much more. You'll also learn and practice giving impromptu talks of 1 - 2 minutes!

Evaluations:

To assist the member, the Toastmasters program includes effective evaluation. Fellow Toastmasters performs this evaluation of each member’s prepared or impromptu speaking effort in a constructive and helpful manner, utilizing a prepared evaluation procedure that is an integral part of the Toastmasters program.

The Toastmasters Magazine:

Every month, The Toastmaster provides new insight into the ever‑changing world of communication and leadership. The ideas, opinions and techniques featured in each issue help Toastmasters to improve their speaking skills.
